Teacher: A long time ago people thought there were only four elements. Can anyone guess what they were?
Me: Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.

We are moving to San Antonio towards the end of April.
I’ve had my new laptop for a couple of months, and I finally hooked my iPhone into iTunes to redo my music. Do you know how hard it is to sift through 50 gigs of music and only put 14 onto a device?! I deleted a lot of my apps, but I managed to pick what I’ll listen to the most. I don’t have any workout playlists made yet because I want to get an iPod shuffle first.
In other news!
Silly HR guy hasn’t called my mom to tell her what they’d pay her and give her a relocation package yet, but he said he managed to convince the company of … something? She said she wanted 26 an hour (with shift differential she’d make 37 an hour), and that was what he must have been talking about. I want to start going through my room and packing, though, so he needs to call already.
It’s been tough exercising with my reversed sleeping schedule, because when I am awake my brother is sprawled across my workout area and then he goes to bed. I’ve been going downstairs in the middle of the night to try and remedy that, though.
I am officially moving to San Antonio! I thought I would share a few things that I am excited about fitness-wise in the area.
The River Walk: I have never been to San Antonio, so I’m not sure what all the river walk entails, but I do know that it has about 50 or so restaurants and bistros that line the river, and is meant to be a sort of urban sanctuary. One of the things that seems to be popular is doing yoga on the river walk. The top picture here depicts the area that people usually put their yoga mats.
Fitness Stations: There is a 34 mile jogging and biking trail that runs through different parks in San Antonio. I plan on visiting it frequently to see how far I can go. In addition to the trails that stem from parks, each park location has a fitness station. The bottom picture shows some of them. Different locations have different machines used for different fitness purposes (a full list of them can be found here). I can go to parks and not even need a gym membership to use equipment!
Other: For at least six months I am going to be living about a mile from my mom’s job. I will be able to walk to every place I need to get to, and if I can get a transport job on the weekends at the hospital I’ll be on my feet and moving 36 hours a weekend.
